Handsome fold-out 1981 Conoco travel guide road map of the United States, printed more than 40 years ago.
This map opens to 18" x 27½" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by H.M. Gousha.
There are insets of Alaska and the Hawaiian Islands.
There's a mileage chart on the reverse side, along with a directory of Conoco travel trailer sanitary stations.
The map was distributed by the Continental Oil Company in 1981 to promote its Conoco brand. It is dated by the code number in the lower margin: AN-2 and the two digits in the highway shield on the front cover.

on the rear cover, which also has Conoco's trademark slogan "Hottest Brand Going."
