The Airbus A319 is a member of the 320 family, and are narrow bodied airliners designed and produced by Airbus. The A320 was launched in March of 1984. It first flew on August 25, 1995, and was introduced in 1995 by Swissair. It could carry between 124-156 passengers and had a 3,700 mile range. A total of 1,480 A319's have been manufactured.
Northwest Airlines was a major United States airline that was founded in 1926. Northwest's home base was the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. Northwest was merged with Delta Airlines and continued to operate under its own name and brand until the integration of the carriers was completed on January 31, 2010. Northwest had 57 A-319's in service. This aircraft is still in service with Delta Airlines.
This Airbus A319-114 with registration number N358NB, first flew on December 17, 2002. It was delivered to Northwest on March 18, 2003. In October of 2008, this aircraft's colors were changed to Delta Airlines after the Northwest/Delta merger, and is still currently in service.
The solid resin model is a 1:200 scale, detailed model with the latest, excellent Northwest graphics, and requires only minimal assembly.
The model is approximately 6.75" long with a 6.75" wingspan
