For sale Rollei Rolleiflex 2.8D 2.8 D TLR Camera For Repair/Parts. The camera serial number is 1614067; the Xenotar 2.8/80 lens serial number is 4404548. The camera is more than 60 years old and is well used and has issues. The taking lens front surface shows coating wear and dullness due to constant cleaning, the back surface shows marks, internally it looks clear without fungus.
The shutter although fires in all speeds occasionally it does not fire or is erratic, the turning of the shutter dial shows some resistance. The opening and closing of the aperture diaphragm is ok. The waist level finder opens up only partially see last pic above. The WLF's front side shows slight dent and protrudes up see 11th image. The timer does not work.
Although we have described it as best we can. In light of these above mentioned issues it would be unfair to ask for a return. But we do encourage any questions/clarifications about the item before you place your bid.
