    Description

    These are ORIGINAL GENUINE GI  UNISSUED VIETNAM ERA 5 BUCKLE RUBBER BOOTS (OVERSHOES) SIZE 9 DATED 71. These were worn by various branches of the military. The boots were worn over the combat boots and other type of footwear. The boots are made of a black rubber. From the tip of the toe to the back of the heel it is approx. 13 1/4 Inches Long. On the front there  are
    5 buckles for closure. On the back towards the top of the boots there is a grommet hole for tying the boots together when not in use.
    On the inside it is stamped with the following information:  U.S., 9 (for the size), CROSSE RUBBER MILLS CO., DSA-180-71-C-1401, SEPTEMBER 1971 and the number 05.
    On the bottom sole it is stamped with the manufacturers name (LA CROSSE) and the number 9 for the size, . The Original Unissued Vietnam Era 5 Buckle Rubber Boots (Overshoes) Size 9 dated 71 are in new condition.
