  • Condition: Vintage. These hard ear protection muffs are in good shape. Some marks and scratches on the hard plastic. A hole has been punched in the foam of the inside of one of the ears. The foam that was inserted on the top of the head rest is missing. These fell out easily as they were not secured well. See pictures.

    Description

    This was issued to Northwest Airlines ramp workers in the early 1980's after the merger.    It has the 1980's style N' logo.  These were not issued very long.  Afterwards they were just red with no Northwest logos.    I got a few pair after I hired in 1988 at the Detroit hub.  The merger was settled in the summer of 1988 and soon after the company began to re-design our logos and gear to reflect the new company brand
