Yashica A TLR in Gray-Black Combo WORKING—SEE PHOTOS

Description

This is an example of the basic Yashica A SLR produced forthe U.S. market. Using the dating code suggested on the YashicaTLR website the s/n on this camera(3962672) suggests manufacture in June, 1959. The 1959 dating is also supportedby the gray/black color scheme and the design on the top cover. The camera has Yashikor80mm f. 3.5 viewing and taking lenses and a Copal shutter with a range from1/25 to 1/300 plus B. The shutter tensions and releases, and the apertureadjustment operates smoothly. The gray leatherette covering is in excellentcondition on all surfaces and the black trim has minimal signs of wear.
